About Us

Cavendish Energy™ LLC has its business headquarters in Fort Worth, Texas, an R&D facility in Chicago, Illinois, and a government relations office in Washington, D.C.  The company is focused on commercializing the production, distribution, and sale of gaseous hydrogen.  Through its proprietary innovations, Cavendish will provide a platform for commercially robust hydrogen production and storage.

Hydrogen has numerous recognized applications for alternative energy, including PEM and solid oxide fuel cells, internal combustion engines, and many industrial and non-industrial uses.  Cavendish provides a new, disruptive method that is both economically and environmentally sound.  This will significantly change the market for applications that are currently non-viable without an appropriate hydrogen supply, and will catalyze the creation of many new applications.

The Cavendish device is the first of its kind to produce significant amounts of raw hydrogen at 99.99+% purity at prices that are lower than competing technologies.  The Cavendish technology is efficient, controllable, and is fully scalable for smaller or larger production outputs as required.

The Cavendish Advantage

Cavendish technology has significant economic, technical, and functional advantages over the competition.  For example, the process:
  • Allows for control of hydrogen output, unlike competitors using similar chemistry
  • Does not require high pressure and high temperature
  • Produces hydrogen that meets SAE standard J2719 for fuel cell vehicles
  • Is clean, green, and sustainable
  • Is financially viable without government subsidies, incentives, or mandates

In addition:
  • The Cavendish device is easy to manufacture and does not require rare, expensive, or cutting edge technology, processes, or materials.
  • Input and output materials are environmentally benign.
  • Residues can be recycled and have economic value.
  • The financial model requires no special subsidies, grants, tax incentives, or other governmental support to be economically viable.
  • Capital requirements for commercialization are low.
  • The Cavendish device is suitable for both industrial and non-industrial markets and for numerous DOD/military tactical applications.
  • Multiple generations of Cavendish devices have been produced, tested, and demonstrated.

Certified Cavendish test results are available upon request.

Our Focus

Cavendish is initially focusing on various small and medium-sized applications, including:
